Greater Dartmoor Local Enterprise Action Group (GDLEAF) is a new organisation. It has been set up to invest in environmental and community based projects that encourage innovation and promote the prosperity of the Greater Dartmoor area.
The organisation is being run through Devon Renaissance, and with support from South Hams District Council.
We have been working hard to set up the organisation to deal with some of the main economic and social issues facing the communities in Greater Dartmoor. We started by preparing a Local Development Strategy. This outlines our plans for how funding could help make improvements in the area. This was agreed by SWRDA who then allocated us £1.8m to help deliver some of our aims and objectives.
We put together our delivery plan for 2009 to show what we planned to do in our first year, GD LEAF delivery plan 2009.
